At Blue Ribbon Finches, we offer shipping via United States Postal Service. At this time we do not offer shipping via airlines as the nearest commercial airport is approximately four and a half hours away. We apologize for any inconvenience this may create, but we will do our best to accommodate you in any way we can.
Shipping via USPS
Blue Ribbon Finches charges a flat shipping rate of $60 per box of birds shipped. Your shipping fee covers the shipping container and the actual shipping fee. We make every effort to make sure your birds are shipped in a way that keeps them as comfortable and stress free as possible.
At the time of purchase you will provide Blue Ribbon Finches with your name, address and phone number. Your information is then provided to the Post Office and you will be called to pick up your birds when they arrive at your local post office. Your local office will provide information on when and where to pick up the birds.
If you would like to provide your email address at the time of purchase, I will be happy to provide you with a tracking number on your shipment. According to USPS rules all live birds must be shipped via overnight or two-day shipping which will be determined by USPS at the time of drop off.
Shipping of Java Sparrows
At this time, we do not offer shipping on java sparrows. We do offer javas for sale, however due to the current Lacey Act laws, pickup must be arranged and a valid New Mexico driver’s license must be provided at the time of pickup as these birds cannot be exported over state lines at this time. We are sorry for any problems this may cause.
